Image of your Mac disk is required in order to take protection
measures against any drive crash or data loss instances.

space than original and can keep as a backup in compressed form.

process of creating disk image can take long time depending on some

- In case of creating image of boot volume, the window offers option to 'Create Minimal System of Boot Volume'. In this message it ask you to continue, so in order to continue, click the 'Image with Minimal System'.
- Now click on 'choose destination' button on screen, so that you choose the destination folder or volume where you want to store the image.
- While if you want to make image of any other volume, then select your drive/volume from “select source” section.
- Specify the name of image after moving into destination drive or folder, and click on save. Click continues to start imaging process. After completion of imaging process the image is saved on your designated destination drive.
Note:
It is always recommended to store your image destination in another
